With the picturesque scenes of the stunning spring season nearly upon us, it is once again time to pack your picnic hampers and tidy your tarpaulins for our annual hanami event in Nara Park; a day of fun for friends and families to frolic under the fluttering flowers.
We will be meeting at the start of the cobbled pedestrian street leading to the entrance of Todaiji (signposted); an approximate 10~15 minute stroll from Kintetsu Nara Station.
From there we will be heading into the park to the east of the street and setting up camp. Keep an eye out for the JALT flag if have any trouble finding us.
BYO food and beverages and don’t forget to bring the usual array of sporting paraphernalia for some games in the park.
